Revitol is a big player in the skincare game. They’re well known for their moisturizing and anti-wrinkle creams. So when they launched their skin lightening serum – we knew it was worth trying out on our tender tushies. The question is – can this big skincare mogul hold up their claims? Does Revitol Skin Brightening Cream actually work for lightening your anus, vagina and nipples?
Here’s the big tushy teardown on this popular product.
Ingredients: What’s Inside Revitol?
Revitol uses natural herbal extracts to lighten and improve acne marks, freckles, liver-spots and dark pigment. We were excited to see that their plant-based ingredients were safe to use in sensitive areas. The non-chemical based ingredients also fight age spots, skin wrinkles, uneven skin tone, sun spots and ugly birthmarks. As a bonus, the nourishing vitamins and moisturizers make your skin as soft as a babies bottom.
So what’s actually in Revitol? Here’s the low down:
An extract of comfrey plant, Allantoin is a non-toxic moisturizer which works on the outer layer of your skin to improve it’s appearance. Allantoin is used to moisturize, soften and soothe the skin, while attacking bacteria and fungal microbes which cause funky skin textures and spots.
Lumiskin is made from Chilean tree bark, and is used for its antioxidant properties. This ingredient is the big bad boy which controls melanin to lighten the color of skin and hair. Reducing the amount of melanin produced in new skin cells results in lighter, and more even complexion.
3. Shea Butter:
Shea butter is one of nature’s richest moisturizers – but it’s also got a kickass collection of other benefits too. It provides a barrier to prevent skin dehydration, and is alos used as a natural sunscreen.
What’s really great about shea butter is that it promotes faster healing, so your skin regenerates and repairs quickly to prevent scarring, stretch marks and wrinkles.
Made from pears and bearberry plants, Arbutin reduces dark color on your skin. This ingredient is designed to fight free-radicals, which attack the top layer of your skin to cause dark spots and wrinkles. Many products which use Arbutin focus on reducing dark spots, birthmarks, discolorations in the skin, and acne scars.
5. Other Ingredients
Some other ingredients in Revitol Skin Brightener Cream which are minor players in the skin-lightening game include:
- Glyceryl stearate
- Vitamins A, C and E
- Liposome and dimethicone
- Evening primrose oil
What We Liked About It:
Ok – here’s the juicy bits. What happened when we tested Revitol Skin Brightening Cream?
What we liked is that all the ingredients are 100% natural, which is great for sensitive areas or people with allergies. When we used the product we found that it made our skin super smooth, and also worked to protect our skin from the sun. We also liked that this product fights toxins and bacteria which cause skin conditions and wrinkles.
But really – nipples and vag lips are already pretty soft. What we REALLY want to know is if this product lightens dark skin areas or not. So, we gave it a try and we were surprised that it did work, even on areas that are pretty much hard to bleach.
What We Didn’t Like About It:
The truth is — we just didn’t get the results we were looking for. While Revitol is a great general skin-care cream, we didn’t see a huge difference in the color after weeks of use. Also – pregnant women cannot use this product, which is kind of scary. The price is also a bit steep, so unless you’ve got a secret ass bleaching piggy bank stashed under your bed, you’re better off with a more affordable product.
One issue that we have had about this product that we just can’t get out of our heads is that, it takes quite a while to take effect. Revitol is a great product based on our review but it doesn’t compare to our game-changer which is Amaira. Amaira is safer and works more efficiently than any other cream that we have tried over the past couple of years.
The Verdict: Does Revitol Skin Brightening Cream Work?
The hard facts are that Revitol is a great moisturizer and skin care product, but is not our top pick for anal or vaginal bleaching. If you want super soft and supple skin – go for it. But if you want a perfectly pink pussy or to lighten up your butthole – check out a product that’s more focused on actual skin lightening. Our top pick is still Amaira Intimate Whitening Serum, which beats out Revitol for price and performance.
